Guardianship is a key but complicated issue that aging and disability I&R/A specialists address in their work with consumers, family members, and caregivers. This training covers the basics of guardianship including the process of becoming a guardian, responsibilities of the guardian, the difference between guardianship and powers of attorney and a discussion on when a guardianship may be necessary.
